Cancer Survivorship and Caregiving

Survivorship

HDRP promotes research that aims to understand the perspectives and facilitate health care delivery among people undergoing cancer treatment, other survivors, and their family members to optimize health and well-being. HDRP works very closely with the Office of Cancer SurvivorshipExternal Web Site Policy to promote research that enhances the quality and length of survival for all persons diagnosed with cancer. HDRP funds survivorship and caregiving grants and develops resources which includes data and tools for cancer care delivery research.

Cancer Caregiving

Cancer caregiving includes informal supportive care that may be provided to individuals with a cancer diagnosis. Support is often physically, emotionally, socially, and financially demanding. HDRP-led efforts have supported the science of informal cancer caregiving, and the program continues to help advance the field.

Cancer Caregiving (ORB 5-part Webinar Series)

The Outcomes Research Branch hosted a 5-part webinar series that explored the complex aspects of informal cancer caregiving.
